Turkish Armed Forces (TAF) Health Information System
1st Phase
TAF Health Information System is one of the most comprehensive and significant information systems for Turkiye. More than 400 military health organizations had been formed in an information system, a prototype structure had been developed, which provides information sharing and monitoring centrally via asynchronous information replication. Some of the activities included within the context of this project are; building an information system infrastructure, integration of the information system, developing management information and decision support systems and presenting a detailed master plan and a deployment plan. Besides, Diagnosis and Treatment Unit Implementation Software had been implemented in Kasımpaşa Navy Hospital (600 Beds)

Narrative Description of Assignment

Establishment of the prototype module for an integrated and central monitored
Information System for more than 400 military health institutes including 43 Hospitals, 9 Mobile Hospitals, 30 Dispensaries, 238 Infirmaries of has been developed and activated.
All sub-modules are n-tier; GUI and OO based and developed via MS Visual Studio.
SELECT Enterprise, ERWin, BPWin and Visual Modeller CASE Tools has been utilized during the development phase.

- The following activities has also been developed within the context of the assignment:
- TAF Health Information System Master Plan
- TAF Health Information System Deployment Plan
- During the 1st phase of the assignment the developed Diagnosis Treatment Unit Implementation Software
had been implemented in Kasımpaşa Navy Hospital (600 Beds)
- Orientation and Concentration System (OCS), Management and Decision Support System (MDSS), and Health Regulation Information System (HRIS)
had been developed and implemented in the following units:
